Here are some things I've experienced in the past 3 years: - Washer, dryer, oven, fridge, AC unit and toilet all broke and had to be replaced. - Wasp nests so bad we can't use our porch - The biggest roaches I have ever seen in my life (which I have photos of) - It took months for them to get my spouse on our lease even though we moved in at the same time - The gate we live next to is always broken and just hanging open, so my car has been broken into multiple times. My friend's catalytic converter was stolen too. When I asked the front office about this I was told "the gates don't even do anything." (They don't even respond to my emails about the broken gate anymore, guess I'm just a nuisance even though I've lived here since before COVID and haven't missed a rent payment once) - Duplicitous behavior from staff, especially Mickey. Different friend was given two parking stickers even though they live in a one bedroom. They were told "you're only supposed to get one, but come back later and I'll give you a second one. *wink*" I asked for a second one and was denied. - They make you sign up for "PetScreening" whether you have pets or not and charge you for it. The pet deposit is insanely high too. - CONSTANT issues with the water and random water shutoffs, pipes burst every winter If you live here it's probably because you can't afford to live anywhere else, so I sympathize. Skip this place if you can afford it. As another review said, you get what you pay for.

I've been living here since 2017, and believe me, we've tried to move out several times, but sadly, the economy won't allow us to do it. You pay for what you get, but with years and the new management, things are getting out of control: 1. The pool is a complete joke! It conveniently stops working in the summer and this time especially was close since May (it was smelling like pee) until August, and when it was finally "open" the water was filthy, cover with balls of hair and the pool has holes on the bottom. Really? 2. Roaches everywhere! Tiny, medium, and large, just pick a size. Seems like each summer the problem is getting worse. 3. Why bother on paying for a trash valet if they never pick it up? We had so many troubles with them! They either won't pick up the trash outside of the apartments and let it available for the raccoons, or they "think" that Amazon packages left at the door are trash. There's $30 monthly to waste that is not even picked up.

In July 2020, I made the choice to move across the country from Florida to Texas. While searching the internet for the best place to reside, I stumbled across Rockbrook Creek Apartments. Once I finalized my decision, I spoke to the Community Assistant Manager,Shawna. Shawna explained the deals they were offering and took time out of her busy day to personally give me a virtual tour of my now apartment. One year later, during Covid/recession, I informed Shawna of a small hard-ship I was facing as a single mother. Shawna was compassionate, caring, understanding and assisted me to the best of her ability without me feeling helpless or embarrassed. I was devestated to learn that Shawna would be leaving us in November 2021, but I understood it was to further her career and wanted nothing but happiness for her. A few days ago, I received an email from our Community Manager, Shawna, was advising us on the upcoming weather and reminding us to be safe. I am ecstatic to know that the current tenants, including myself and future tenants are blessed to have this angel as our Community Manager(the company could not have chosen a better person). I have lived in several apartment complexes in my adult life, but this is definitely the best one! If there are any problems, whether inside or outside of our personal units, we are always made aware of them, and issues corrected immedialtely. I believe each person employed here is hand-picked for us to have the best experience possible.

This is the worst place I've ever lived. Even before the heat wave I didn't have ac for multiple months. My neighbors were constaly smoking legal and illegal items, and I can never get the office to answer the phone unless it benefits them. Don't believe anything they say unless you get it in writing. I was promised an additional parking pass for my motorcycle and that the dog park was getting redone. Neither was true and the "dog park" is still just a disgusting pile of broken equipment and feces. The location looks great until youve moved in for a few day. I've been harrased by multiple drug addicts walking around on the nearby trails and people sleeping in the woods. The "creek" is disgusting and full of garbage. And the paths are so poorly maintained my gf broke her ankle going to take the garbe out. I've been unbelievably patient with them and never once have I gotten any kindness in return. I would avoid this place at all costs
